Only 88 percent of DKI 2021 APBD Budget Absorption

ONENEWS.MY.ID, Jakarta – Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria said DKI’s budget absorption in 2021 will reach 88.22 percent. This figure is less than the budget realization target of 91 percent.

“Indeed, it did not reach 91 percent because there are several things,” he said at the Mercure Simatupang Hotel, Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta, Sunday, January 2, 2022.

Riza explained three reasons the budget absorption did not reach the target. First, there is auction efficiency. Even so, he said, there were no Jakarta strategic programs that had canceled the auction.

Second, DKI employees retire or die. Third, the auction payment awaits the results of the audit of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) and the attorney’s legal opinion (LO). According to him, an audit is needed even though the auction process is massive.

“So, we really have to be more careful with some of these things, so that they have an impact on the budget that has not been fully absorbed,” said Riza Patria.
