Jakarta, ONENEWS.MY.ID – Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Panjaitan believes that the efforts that have been made in handling and controlling COVID-19 cases have been good. Even other countries can imitate Indonesia.

This was conveyed by Luhut after a limited cabinet meeting in a press conference, Monday (3/1/2022)

“Our experience is better. Almost no one is as painstaking as we are, which means that it is integrated holistically and there are regular meetings held from the highest leadership to the bottom. That’s one of the things that made him in his current position,” he explained.

“But still we should not be arrogant, we have done the best. People can learn from us how we handle it,” said Luhut.

Covid cases in Indonesia had touched 56,000 in a day and even worse, death cases had even reached 2,000 people in a day. Now the situation has dropped to below 200 cases and very few have ended up dying.

During the cabinet meeting that took place earlier, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) requested that these efforts be used in other measures. For example, economic recovery.

“The President conveyed a message that we must do this so that the problem is solved. We see the economy as one of the best in the Covid-19 situation, our exports are good, other controls are also good. We calculate the contingency to face the worst situation,” said Luhut.
