Jakarta, ONENEWS.MY.ID – The Ministry of Health announced an additional 265 cases of Covid-19 in the country, on Monday (3/1/2022). With that, the total confirmed cases reached 4,263,433 people
DKI Jakarta is the area with the most additions with 74 cases today. The total number of Covid-19 cases in the capital since the start of the pandemic has reached 864,601 people.
In second place, there is West Java with the addition of 40 cases, bringing the total cases to 708,577 people.
The third is East Java with the addition of 20 cases, bringing the total cases to 399,864 people. Then Central Java and West Papua with an additional 17 cases each.
Currently, the total number of Covid-19 cases since the beginning of the pandemic in Central Java has reached 486,748 people, and West Papua has reached 23,508 people.
Meanwhile, the number of recovered cases increased by 112 people. So that the total recovered cases reached 4,114,801 people.
Then for the death toll due to Covid-19 increased by 5 people. With this, 144,102 people in Indonesia have died due to Covid-19. Meanwhile, there are 4,530 active cases or patients who must receive treatment.
Even though Covid-19 cases are sloping, people are still advised to apply health protocols. Maintain distance, wash hands, wear masks, stay away from crowds, and limit mobility.
The public is also encouraged to get vaccinated. Because vaccination has been proven to be able to prevent someone from getting seriously ill and being hospitalized for being infected with the Covid-19 virus.
