“We are open to dialogue and my agent will meet with Juve,” the 27-year-old told DAZN.

“I want to stay at Juventus, so obviously you need two to reach an agreement. It’s like a wedding.”

Throughout this season, the player with 38 caps with Gli Azzurri has only scored one goal and provided six assists from 19 matches that have been played.

Bernardeschi signed from Fiorentina for 40 million Euros in the summer of 2017.

“There’s a tradition in the dressing room where whoever renews their contract pays dinner for the whole squad. If that day comes for me, I’ll be happy to buy dinner.”
