Britney Spears’ ex-husband has found himself in a familiar place: behind bars.
Jason Alexander, who was infamously married to the pop star for 55 hours back in 2004, was arrested on Dec. 30 in Franklin, Tenn., for violating of an order of protection and aggravated stalking, Page Six reported on Jan. 5. It’s not known who he allegedly stalked.
It’s Jason’s third arrest within 12 months.
The 40-year-old is being held in the Williamson County jail on a $30,000 bond. A hearing is scheduled for Feb. 17.
Over the summer, Jason was arrested for allegedly breaching security at a Tennessee airport. Jason confirmed the airport incident occurred during an Instagram Live on Aug. 31, saying he ended up “in handcuffs because of something stupid.” Radar Online claimed Jason was “double-locked” in handcuffs and detained after he left the secure side of TSA at the Nashville airport. Britney’s ex then wandered into a “non-secure area” before attempting to come back through TSA and skip the line.
Jason was also arrested in Nashville in January 2021 on DUI and drug charges, including driving under the influence, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and possession or casual exchange of a controlled substance.
A month before that DUI arrest, Jason attended the Jan. 6 Save America rally in Washington, D.C., to show his support for Donald Trump. It’s not believed that Jason was among the mob that stormed the Capitol building as Congress affirmed Joe Biden’s victory.
The pop star and Jason, who grew up together in Louisiana, famously married at A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas in January 2004. Less than three days later, the marriage was annulled.

Jason, who has been seen at a #FreeBritney rally, recently contended that he was duped into signing the annulment papers.
“They told me if I would sign the contracts — the annulment — they would let me and Britney continue our relationship, and if we felt the same way in six months, they would give us a proper marriage,” he said on the “Toxic: The Britney Spears Story.” “So I had no reason to believe otherwise.”
