PSM Makassar is the most active team in the transfer market for the 2021-2022 League 1 half season.
Approaching the close of the mid-season transfer market next week, PSM Makassar appeared to make a breakthrough.
PSM Makassar announced new players through the club’s official website on Tuesday (4/1/2022).
Unmitigated, PSM Makassar immediately signed 11 new players for the second round of Liga 1 2021-2022.
The eleven new PSM players are Ferdinand Sinaga, Marinus Wanewar, Delfin Rumbino, Manda Cingi, Ganjar Mukti, Aditya Putra Dewa, Utam Rusdiyana, Abu Rizal Maulana, Dallen Doke, Julyano Pratama, and Rafly Asrul.
PSM recruited carriages of players who had defended Persis Solo in Liga 2 2021. It was recorded that Ferdinand, Marinus, Delfin, and Ganjar were former players of Laskar Sambernyawa.
After delivering Persis to the 2021 Liga 2 champion, the four players then crossed over to PSM.
Especially for Ferdinand, this is a reunion moment for the 33-year-old striker. Previously, Ferdinand had defended Juku Spell from 2018 to 2020.
PSM also recruited young players for the second round. Dallen Doke, Julyano Pratama and Rafly Asrul are still under 25 years old.
“We welcome the new players. Of course we hope to improve the team’s performance in the second round of Liga 1 2021-2022,” said Munafri Arifuddin, President Director of PSM Makassar.
“The players who come will join us in going through the tight second round of Liga 1 2021-2022, and God willing, we will also fight together in the 2022 AFC Cup,” Appi, Munafri’s greeting, added.
PSM Makassar has indeed been appointed by PSSI to represent Indonesia in the 2022 AFC Cup.
As the champion of the 2019 Indonesian Cup, PSM Makassar accompanies Bali United, which is the 2019 League 1 champion.
