PSS Sleman loses, Putu Gede: Arema FC’s goal is too easy | Bolaindo

PSS Sleman had to admit defeat to Arema FC, in the continuation week of Liga 1 2021/22, at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Thursday (12/1) night WIB. PSS could actually control the game by winning the ball possession, but they were less clever than Arema.

Arema’s patient game yielded nothing, when in the second half Arema played more attractively for a goal. As a result, in the 53rd and 56th minutes, PSS’s goal was shaken by the actions of Kushedya Hari Yudo and Dendi Santoso. Arema also closed this match with a 2-0 victory.

Putu Gede, coach of PSS, said that his team was too easy to give Arema a goal. The players also could not give a good response when Arema managed to create the first goal scored by Yudo, until finally there was a second goal which was recorded by Dendi.

“First, congratulations to Arema for winning. In the first half we were pretty good. What we want has started to run. But they got the goal too easily. This is an experience and situation that we have to learn for the future,” said Putu Gede.

The former coach of Persekat Tegal also denied that Super Elang Jawa only played for a draw against Arema. Slow tempo and too patient in building attacks, enough to cause question marks and speculation about the team’s target in this match.

“First, of course, we have to be patient, the circulation of the ball doesn’t work. If the ball circulation was faster, there would be more space for us to pass between the lines. So it’s not a problem we want to take one point. I’m not that typical,” said Putu Gede.

“Once again, this is an experience for us. Because the goal situation is the same and the timing is very close. They must quickly clean up so that when the first goal occurs, there are no more gestures from players who lose all and think like the game is over. This should not happen in a competitive situation like this,” added Putu.

This match is Putu Gede’s second match with PSS. “I hope the players can take the best experience from this match, and this can be great for PSS’s development in facing the next match,”
